Product Description The snare wire for a 14 Inches dynasonic snare drum has 16 strands, an overall length of 13 1/4 Inches, and a strand length of 12 1/8 Inches (including the soldered area on each end-plate). Both end-plates have a 1/4 Inches hole in the center for attachment of the wire to the strainer frame via a screw. Puresound's vintage series snare wires are designed not only to replace worn and no longer available wires on vintage snares, they are also designed to enhance the performance of those classic drums. From the Manufacturer Designed as a replacement for vintage 14" Rogers Dyna-Sonic snare drums, the Dyna-Sonic snare wire has 16 individual strands of premium-grade steel wire. The snares have an overall length of 13 1/4", and a strand length of 12 1/8" (from solder point to solder point). Both end-plates have a 1/4" hole in the center for mounting to the snare strainer frame.
