Each grip is individually hand inspected and actuated for proper function. Grips are also rigorously tested and pulled to rated load to ensure the highest quality and reliability. The Klein 1604-20L Klein Haven's Grip gripping pressure of the knurled jaw is applied to 1/4-Inch (6.35 mm) cable area. The Klein 1604-20L Klein Haven's Grip has maximum cable of 2.08-Pound (1.14) g, a minimum of 8 B&S solid. 125-Inch (3.18) and a maximum safe load capacity of 5000-Pound. The Klein 1604-20L Klein Haven's Grip also has a swing latch to help hold cable in the jaw.
