These child-safe sash locks, made of diecast material with a bronze-plated finish, feature a spring-loaded, self-locking actuator that secures the cam and lever in place. To unlock and open the window, first depress the catch-release tab towards the cam lever. Ideal for securing easy-to-lift single and double hung vertical-sliding windows, these locks are easy to install using the provided fasteners. They fit windows with 1-3/4 inch on-center installation holes and are suitable for both single hung and double hung vertical sliding windows.
