The Dyson DC47 Cyclone Assembly uses 2 Tier Radial Cyclone Technology with 32 cyclones for greater centrifugal force. This centrifugal force separates dirt and microscopic dust from the air. Once the dirt and dust is separated, it is deposited into the clear bin. The pre filter is inserted into the top of the cyclone assembly to clear any dust or particles that might escape the two tiers.
