Ascend Tools 11” Ratchet Cable Cutter, for Stainless Steel Wire Rope, Copper, Aluminum and Communications Cable, Shear, Clean Cuts up to 3/8” (10mm)

The 11-inch ratcheted wire rope cutter is designed to specifically cut stainless steel stranded wire rope up to 3/8” (10mm, 3/0 AWG) in diameter neatly and precisely. It can also be used to cut copper, aluminum, electrical and communication cables. The ratchet mechanism increases cutting pressure and presses the blades through cables that are too thick for standard cable cutters. The handles are ergonomically designed to provide fatigue proof cutting operation. These cutters typically require two hands to operate. The cutter is made from high-speed steel from Austria; the replaceable blades are made from high-speed steel, treated with Tungsten & Cobalt and are hardened to Rockwell standard HRC 65-67. The blades can deliver more than 200 cuts without flattening or fanning the cable. The cutter is equipped with a quick release lever to release the blades at any point during cutting. One extra set of blades is provided to enable users to continue their job without downtime. The blades can be changed quickly using a 2mm hex key.

• UNIQUENESS – Specially designed to cut stainless steel wire rope up to 3/8” (10mm, 3/0 AWG) in diameter neatly and precisely. In addition, it can easily cut copper, aluminum, electrical / communication / data cables. Most cutters are designed to cut copper or aluminum wire only.
• QUALITY: The blades are made from high-speed steel, heat treated and hardened to Rockwell standard 65-67 for sharpness and durability. The cutter hosts very sharp shearing blades to cut wire cleanly and easily without crushing or deformation. On stainless steel stranded wire, one set of blades delivers about 200 cuts.
