Handmade in the USA, this small multifunctional bowl begins life shaped on the artisan's potter's wheel, followed by hand-applied glazing that is fired to a strong, permanent finish. A unique, hand-sculpted stoneware spoon completes the set, adding an unexpected touch - ideal for serving appetizers, side dishes, or as a candy dish. With a handsome American-made midnight-blue color glaze, the durable stoneware pottery is oven safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe. Holds an approximate volume of 16 ounces. Signed by the artist on the bottom. Note: the bottom of the handmade spoon is unglazed, just as is the bottom of all pottery. The unglazed portion is high-fired stoneware pottery and is safe to use with food, similar to unglazed clay cookware. The bottom of the spoon can be more susceptible to stains from harsh liquids, but remains safe for microwave and dishwasher use.
